Thoughts?
When I was talking to a friend about our class discussion on Saunders' "Braindead Megaphone," this friend mentioned that Saunders promoted this book on the Colbert Report. Check it out:
Well, I love the Colbert Show to begin with so its kind of cool to see someone we have talked about it class. I think that metaphor with the popsicle in relation with Fox News "preaching" it shows a clear un-neutral balance on the news that is being reported. Though to be fair I'm sure there is some unbiased views in other media, but the point is there is an example on the one station. To connect it with sustainability, for myself personally, I like to go off of neutral/fair views on issues concerning all social, economic, and political, in so Fox News continues with further support after watching this and reading the chapter we read, as a biased station, eliminating its worthiness to me.
Cool hair....!
