I believe this photograph displays how the African American culture is becoming more influential and powerful in today's society. African Americans have literally went from the bottom of the social ladder to the top in the pursuit of respect from those who have shown discrimination and hatred towards them.

ReplyDeleteThe first sentence here is a great start on a thesis statement. To make it better, try to get a little more specific ("in today's society" is a generally vague term). In the rest of your analysis, think about what specifically about this image reflects a sense of power.
